The Yoga Center at 8th Street Studio is by far the best yoga studio I have been to in Charlotte. I have practiced yoga for over 25 years and have been a teacher for 13 and this is the studio that I go to learn more. Phyllis Rollins is the ONLY certified Iyengar yoga teacher in Charlotte and has been teaching for over 25 years. Her knowledge, teaching skill and ability to read students bodies and help them develop their practice is amazing. I have learned so much from her. I also really love the sangha (community) at this studio. Everyone is really warm and encouraging and dedicated to their practice. The Yoga Center also has the only ""rope wall"" in Charlotte. If you have never experienced this, you must! It is so much fun and such a wonderful aide in opening the body and deepening one's practice.
Great studio, great instructors, a wonderful place to practice, learn and meet other wonderful like-minded people.
