Not recommended for infants--ok for older kids 8/4/2011

While this daycare facility is certainly not horrible, I do not recommend for children under 2 yrs. The staff in the infant (0-12months) and one year old room, while pleasant, seem to be aloof, at times disgruntled, and unphased. \r \r The center touts that two of the ""teachers"" have been there for over 15 years to comfort you, but in reality, they should probably move on as this job seems to no longer excite or satisfy them.\r \r While individual attention at all times is certainly not feasible (nor expected) in a daycare setting, SOME amount of nurturing, attention, activity, and genuine concern is needed for developing babies. I noticed a severe lack of all of the above. I highly suggest AGAINST placing a child under 2 in this facility as they will basically be placed in a bouncer, crib, or swing for much of their waking hours with little interaction or adult attention (and forget any sort of gross motor skill development or learning time). It appeared that the only time they are paid attention is to feed and change.\r \r However, the older children seemed to have a great time and plenty of activities. more
