First and foremost, I'm a skeptic at heart and as such, don't trust many things, especially those that I haven't witnessed with my own eyes. Furthermore I've been a gym rat since I was a boy in the Navy and have always relied on running and lifting weights to keep in shape. Three years ago, at the age of 65, I was still racing motocross with a bunch of old guys around my age when I over shot a table-top jump, landed upside down and broke my back in three places. I was flat out for almost three months and then just hobbled around for the next three months. The rehab took almost a year and during that time I went from a muscular 185 to a fat and sloppy 230. I was miserable going through the rehab and nutty coconut ice cream became my new best friend. It made me feel better about being almost an invalid.
