I foolishly thought that I could move myself (I had only lived with friends before and only had to move just one bedroom, not an entire house), but am so glad I chose to hire movers. I just finished moving the last items I told them to leave behind, and it took me 10+ trips when it would have taken then an incremental 15 min. Word of advice - if at all possible, spend the time on the front end getting rid of junk (moving sale, salvation army etc) and pack up everything (i mean everything) you want to move, and if you get these guys, it will truly be a painless experience. All of the movers are cordial, efficient, and cute.
