I began seeing Dr. Shangold in 2003. I was immediately impressed by her when, upon reading answers on my medical questionnaire, her first question to me was "What can I do to help you stop smoking..." Wow what GYN does that......... She gained my trust immediately. Over the years, she has not only helped me quit smoking but also helped with a thyroid problem underactive. She was extremely caring and helpful when we discovered my breast cancer last year. She was very kind and steered me to an excellent breast surgeon and remained involved in my care checking up to see how I was feeling, etc. She has continued to provide me with excellent care and has taken care of many other problems too. I would definitely recommend her to any woman.Grace
