I tried that salon out on a recommendation from a friend. I read reviews and was really hoping for a great experience. When I went in, I asked for a trim. I just wanted my dead ends cut off and I knew that might call for an inch or 2. I told the person doing my hair that I wore my hair both straight and curly. With this information he cut my hair with a "curly cut." When I left my hair looked horrible. There were very blunt layers and they were very short. I went home to see if the cut was even workable. I called to see what could be done and ask for a refund. I was to come back in later in the day so the owner could see what could be done. The owner then worked on my hair and told me it was the best it could be for the day. My hair had choppy, unblended layers which resembled something from the 70's. The owner was very sympathetic and understood how upset I was but the results were not much better from the first cut. With my visits to Affinity I lost about 5 inches of hair with a trim and I had to go to another salon so my hair could be better blended and looks like a passable hair cut. Needless to say I will not be back.
