I am in the process of spending over 10K to replace a system done by Airco some years ago.
I purchased a top-of-the-line Lennox system, installed and (not) serviced by Airco.
The installation was shoddy. A return air duct was put in a utlity room with a water heater and clothes dryer (not to code). The extra ductwork I paid for was "piggy-backed" on the back of existing ducts. After many trips to our site, I gave up on them trying to "balance" the system (as they agreed to on estimate).
During the following years, this "high end" system had at least two service calls per year. The compressor went out at year five (and three different technicians had no clue how to wire the new compressor - I finally showed them how to read a wiring diagram).
To add insult to injury, the "humidistat" was disconnected during one visit ("piece of junk" quoted the tech).
The haphazard installation soured me on Lennox and Airco. Today, the system crapped out, and 3 different companies all talked about the shoddy installation done by Airco.
So, no way on Airco on any work.
