I have an experience similar to Scoobee. I purchased a groupon for 3 velashape treatments and it took a week and a half of repeated phone calls and messages that no one returned. Total red flag. Finally, someone picked up the phone. I could hear in the background a customer yelling at the owner. It was so nasty, I actually felt bad for the owner. The customer was yelling about a manicure she received. I wish they would have pressed mute but instead I heard the whole fight. That was my second red flag. When I arrived, the girl at the counter gave me a cordless phone to go into the hallway and talk to the owner. The owner said she had an 'emergency' and had to leave. She also said she couldn't do my treatment because the machine needed service. I asked why she didn't call and she said she lost my info (total B.S.). I wasted my time and gas going there. After fighting to get an appointment in the first place, I was pretty mad. At this point red flags are flying all over the place. Anyway, I was told I'd get a call to reschedule and that they'd upgrade me, but that call never came. I tried once again to call the studio and again, no answer, at least 6 times. I called groupon and got a refund. This place is a joke. No stars but it looks like I'm forced to give at least one. more
