I have traveled extensively throughout the U.S. and half a dozen times to Mexico. El Maguey/O'fallon is the best hands down. The meat quality is consistantly good, tender beef tips (chimichanga) , skirt steak (carne asada tacos & fajitas). The salsa, if you like smooth, is spicy and delicious, the white cheese sauce is superior to any yellow cheese elsewhere with a nice kick, smooth quacamole to die for (no raw tomatoes or onions thankfully) and my dad loves the chile rellanos here. Equally important are the perfectly balanced margharitas that go down smooth, no acid burn or excessive lime taste. Don't forget, all El Maguey's are not created equal, O'fallon O'fallon O'fallon.
