Last winter, we had a terrible snow storm. I remember this because I was out in the storm driving around looking for an open animal hospital to rush my cat Ming into. A few weeks before that day Ming stopped eating which was extremely odd because Ming loves to eat. I also noticed that he wanted to drink allot of water which is something he rarely does. So I called an animal hospital and spoke to a lady who asked me some of the same things I was noticing about Ming. She then told me that he possibly had bladder stones. She then asked me if he had peed at all and I realized he wasn't peeing for two days straight because he was in and out of the liter box. He even slept in the litter box which is something he's never done. I also told her that he was throwing up all over the house. I'll never forget those gagging noises he made it makes me want to cry to this day. The woman then told me that I needed to rush him to the hospital quickly because if I waited any longer he could die. This not only shocked me but scared me as well. So I called around to a close by animal hospital but they wouldn't see or treat him unless I could pay them eighty dollars. And that eighty dollars was just to give him something for the pain. I had no money at the time so I asked if it was possible to bill me so that she could just treat him before he died. She told me that wasn't an option. I was up all night into the morning looking for something or someone that would help me. I then came across this page for Dr. Cameron and was a little discouraged because of some of the reviews I saw about him. However, Ming was running out of time and he needed help fast. I remember calling Dr. Cameron himself and crying on the phone telling him what I had been through with these other animal hospitals. I didn't mind sending Ming to the animal hospital and having them keep him there until I could pay the money just as long as they could save his life. Dr. Cameron told me to come in early that morning and he would do everything he could for Ming. Dr. Cameron was disgusted with the behavior of the other animal hospitals that wouldn't do anything unless I paid. I agreed it was animal cruelty. A helpless animal was in excruciating pain and they wouldn't even try to help. Anyway I remember staying up that whole morning crying and praying while at the same time nudging Ming out of his sleep constantly just to make sure he was still there. Six o' clock could not come quickly enough. I remember Ming getting off my bed and me looking for him around the house. I remember finding him in the kitchen sink in a tight ball. My knees were shaking and my heart was beating fast. I thought he was dead. I kept yelling his name until he finally slowly lifted his head up and looked at me. I picked him up and put him in his carry case and me and my father got in the car and headed to Dr. Cameron's. Each time I called Ming's name throughout the ride he would twitch his tail a little just to let me know he was still there. Once we reached Dr. Cameron's he immediately took Ming into surgery and told me he would call and update me about what was happening. He did everything in his power to save Ming's life and I'm glad to say he did. After a few surgeries Ming, was not only eating and drinking again but he was purring again also. Dr. Cameron established a fair payment plan with me and I've been taking Ming there ever since. When Ming comes to Dr. Cameron he is greeted by smiling faces. They know his name and they love him. Dr. Cameron and his staff are people who truly do care for animals and not just making money. They are true Animal doctors. I'll be taking Ming along with any other pets I get to Dr. Cameron for a very long time. Although I say this to him each and every time I see him I'll say it again.
Thank You Doctor Cameron for everything you've done.
