I have only lived at The Reserve for two months now. Within days I was already having issues. When I moved in I was told that my apartment had never been lived in, which isnt hard to believe because these units are all brand new. I was assured my unit had been cleaned. When I went to take my first bath my bathtub was covered in construction dust. The only thing in the apartment that had been cleaned were the carpets...they were vacuumed. Four days after moving in I went to do laundry and my washer machine would only fill up with water and not drain, or go through a full spin cycle. I called the office and visited twice before getting a call back. After nine days it was finially in the process of being fixed, but I had to use a different unit to do my laundry until the unit was fixed. One week ago I ran into a neighbor whom had the same issue with their washer and dryer. My unit faces south and I dont get direct sun light, but these units have very stagnant air and retain an imense amount of heat. I was unable to keep my dog whom is a german shepard collie in my unit because he would go through a 5 gallon tank of water each day due to the heat in the apartment and it was too uncomfortable for him. The sink started to rust in the kitchen within the first week (this I hardley use because I work at a restaurant and eat all my food their). The water tastes horrible, brita does not make it better..trust me. I have requested to speak with management, left several voice mails and still have not heard anything back from their team. Its extmremely annoying when I pay $900 for a studio apartment and they cant even return a phone call. They are accomodating at first, but I guerantee almost every unit has issues and everyone I have come into contact has had a complaint. I dsigned a 15 month lease and am leaving after two months. Im 22 and not picky, but the heat in the unit is unbarable, I have gotten sick several times in the middle of the night.
