Hillcrest Automotive prices are outrageous and I'm not sure how they stay in business. I took my car in for a noise in the steering, they tested it and said it needed a new hose. Said they could do the work for $375. I took it to the dealership and they confirmed it was the hose and did it for $250. The DEALERSHIP! which is known for much higher pricing. Paul's Automotive said the car needed a part (misdiagnosed) and was going to charge me less for the entire part than Hillcrest did for the hose alone. Hillcrest also wanted to charge me $700 to replace all brake pads and two rotors. Not happening. The people are nice, service is fine, but prices keep me away.
