Illinois Shotokan Karate Clubs is being run with a focus on how to make more money and less on how to help students get better in martial arts. Those who pump in more money in the machine are favored over others. There is no transparency in anything and they change rules on the fly if it financially benefits them. Many students and parents have expressed grievances about how the organization is being run but have fallen to deaf ears.
