Not a dealer you would want to purchase from! VERY shady business practices! I bought a Gen 4 GLOCK from them for above market price but they have the model I was looking for so I paid the extra $. When the firearm was transferred to my dealer, we found it strange that the seal on the GLOCK case was already broken! Upon further inspection I noticed that the factory included magazines were generation 3 and NOT generation 4! (*Gen 4 mags has 2 notches, one on either side for the mag catch, while the Gen 3 and older only has a notch on one side) I contracted shooters vault immediately and explained the mixup and they said that the GLOCK came ""like that"" from the manufacturer. Now you and I and everyone in between knows by now that GLOCK has an outstanding reputation. So I called GLOCK directly and asked them if it was possible for them to mistakenly assemble and ship a Gen 4 firearm with Gen 3 magazines. The GLOCK rep on the line explained how strict and careful they are that it is IMPOSSIBLE to have this mix-up. \r
Only ONE real explanation I can come up with for this situation then...shooters vault opened the Gen 4 GLOCK case, swiped the Gen 4 magazines (since these are hard to find) possibly sold it and swapped Gen 3 magazines in the supposedly ""new"" case instead, hoping that the purchaser would not notice this! TERRIBLE business practice! Up to now ( 4 weeks after) the person from shooters vault whom I spoken to several times have not yet called me back with an explanation or a solution. On our last conversation the shooters vault rep said he'll let the owner know but he does not think there is anything they can do!! Can you believe them saying that to a customer who just bought a supposedle ""new in the box"" $700 firearm from them??? I will NOT DO ANYMORE BUSINESS with shooters vault!
