I am very particular about who I trust my very spoiled, 4 year old shih tzu to. I have tried several different vets, but no one is as caring, dedicated and kind as Dr. Mike Kilgore. Recently, I had to drop my Clare off there, while I had an appointment. I usually wait for her, but was rushing that day. When I came to retrieve her, she was calm and happy and alll the sudden interested in socializing with the other dogs in the waiting area. I was amazed at the change in her and I'd only been gone 2 hours. Anyway, I have to go up to Mayo Clinic in MN. for a week-10 days in July. The family she typically stays with will be vacationing, but I felt completely confident about deciding to board her at Homewood Animal Hospital:) She will probably enjoy all the activity there and the staff are all huge animal lovers.
