Our cat was abused at this groomer today. I rushed him to the vet after seeing his eye swollen, the pupil a slit, his toenails bloody, patches of fur absent from his neck.
The vet said that our cat had been subjected to blunt trauma to his neck which damaged a vein that circled back to his eye, that patches of fur were missing from his neck, that his finger nails were bloody from careless cutting.
I will never go to this groomer again. When I called them about our cat at 5pm today, their answering machine kept picking up and after leaving messages they didn't return my calls. Our vet is calling them in the morning and our vet is never referring them again.
