When I planned on going to Tangerine Aveda, I expected nothing but the best. Due to their, well, high prices. When I called and booked my appointment I spoke to a gentleman of perhaps around 25. He was professional and polite. He even suggested that I get my massage first then my facial. I didn't take his advice, though after, I wished I would have. When I arrived, the woman at the counter offered me a drink, I asked for a water which she never even attempted to go get. She seemed preoccupied with whatever she was doing on her computer. I mentally gave her one star on her preformace. Or lack thereof. Then I met Tara. Sweet, humble, and hands down THE best facial I have ever had. It/she was perfect. Then to a massage with Amanda that was equally amazing and professional. She did talk the entire time, which I don't like. The massage though, was amazing. 5 stars for Tara, 4 for Amanda. Then when I was leaving, that Preoccupied hostess? Was all- the- sudden all over me. Did I want to leave tips? Did I want to buy product? I should refer my friends... Etc. If it weren't for her it would have easily been a 5 star experience. For a hundred dollers an hour, I think they can afford to hire someone that actually acts like they care about more then your money.
