Though I live in Atlanta, I am a semi-regular at Sweet Basil Thai Restaurant. I'm from Chattanooga, and go there regularly to visit my mother, which always entails a Sweet Basil foray.\r
Until my discovering SB, I had had very few restaurant meals in Chatt that I would call memorable.\r
Sweet Basil is indeed memorable. The place is run by women-very special women. The music is always soft, tasteful, and unintrusive. The art work on the walls is interesting and well-chosen. The wait staff are lovely in every way; friendly, accomodating, efficient, and always smiling. \r
The food, without exception, is perfect. Honest and good ingredients, and cooked to perfection. They can tailor the spiciness to anyone's palate.\r
Obviously I can't recommend the place highly enough.\r
This place should be every restaurant's model.
