The salesman told me that I was purchasing a car that was Toyota Certified. After a 8 months I found there was body damage to the car. I called the dealership where Jonah told me that it was toyota certified. When I went in to have them inspect it the manager said it was not. I went back to Jonah and he said no it was and he told me it was. When the manager said it was Toyota Gold certified and not just Toyota Certified, Jonah said oh well I was new and did not know the difference. HUGE MISTAKE!! VERY DIFFERENT THINGS! I did not know this. I was assured they where the same. When I asked him to please make amends they only offered to buy back my car for a low price or sell me a new car. I said I just want you to make this right as now I have a vehicle with an accident and I didnt know about it as it is not on the car fax. And they did not disclose that to me when i purchased the car. The manager took Jonah away, and when they came back I asked them to admit that they had just made a mistake and they refused. Saying they ""didn't recall any such conversation."" My father was there and can be a witness. Jonah said several times, I thought it was certified and I told her it was and then later came back and said he didn't remember saying this just 20 minutes earlier. They now refuse to do anything to help me. PLEASE HELP!! I just want this issue resolved and this is terrible business practice. When I asked again for them to admit they made a mistake, the manager said, ""we don't admit to making mistakes."" I have filed complaints with the Better Business Bureau, the Federal Trade Commission and Toyota. I understand that I got a deal on this car. I love my car, but I have found out this information that changes the situation. Do not let Jonah Amlett sell you a car. He seemed very honest, well he lied when he made a honest mistake as a newby. Credibility is now shot!
