I will be honest. My friends had been attending Yoga Sanctuary classes for five years, I have been resisting for the past three. Each time they talked I heard yoga and thought.. ouch body old.. doesn't bend that way, then the light bulb went on. I began to listen to the messages they were sharing that were given by the instructor during the classes. I finally went to a class. The atmosphere was filled with a deep sense of peace but once the instructor began to walk, assist people in poses, and share his wisdom, the atmosphere became charged with a feeling of renewed tranquility and hope. As the instructor said.. ""Be calmy active.. and actively calm.. no one is chasing you"" For someone who works fifty plus hours under high pressure, the reminder acted as a beacon of hope. I highly recommend this instructor and this environment as an ideal way to beome more that just in tune with your body.. go to feed your mind and refresh your faith in the path you are walking.
