I have been at a louise beck property for about 2 weeks now. We live in a duplex and the problems have started already.
First, there was an issue with the power and they called the other side of our duplex on a friday to tell them our power would be shut off on Monday. Not sure why they did not let us know, or prevent the power from being shut off since we had moved in and they were aware.
Next, our AC went out a couple of days later after getting the power restored. I promptly contacted the company to say hey we just moved in and we're having a lot of issues and our thermostat read in the 90s..what can we do? Unfortunately, it was a little after 5, so I left a message. They did not return my call the following day and our house has now reached 94 degrees. So instead of sleeping, i am up typing this review to hopefully save other people the hassle of dealing with this company.
I have been renting in chapel hill for 5 years now and have never had issues like this with a landlord. Be careful signing a lease because once they have their money, they appear apathetic to your issues.
I cant imagine it will get any better if this is the service provided when you first move in.
