Why is it that every time I go shopping for tires, I end up feeling like I'm being screwed?

Wait in a lobby forever just to have some salesmen try and sell you features that you don't need or overcharge for tires and all in the name of safety.
""Well maybe if you went somewhere that they didn't care abut your safety.."" one guy tells me. Seriously? You don't care about my safety. You care about your wallet. Why the hell would you say something like that? All he had to say is ""That would not be a safe way to do that."" Don't lie to me and tell me you want me to be safe.
Even a shade-tree mechanic has little access to a tire machine, and they know this. Shop around.
