I had another local dentist fill a tooth and was prescribed antibiotics for infection. He said we may have to do a root canal, was still in pain for 2 weeks after changing antibiotics. Dr. Q has convenient office hours for my busy schedule, so gave him a call and scheduled me in, had xray and assessed the tooth. After counsel I made the decision to have him extract the tooth. Afterwards he indicated the correct decision was made since the tooth was cracked down to the nerve and I probably would have lost it anyway. Saved me the expense of a root canal and within 24 hours no pain! Great dentist, great office hours...scheduled for cleaning...highly recommended!
