When did an hour become 30 minutes? 4/16/2011

We hired New Latitudes for 2 hours to move my fiancee from one apartment to another in the same complex. The movers got lost for 20 minutes driving to the apartment (with a GPS), and once there, they informed us that we had an hour and fifteen minutes left. Once they quit moving to do 15 minutes of "paperwork," the guy filling out the paperwork called someone and had a friendly chat peppered with hardy laughter for the remainder of their time there. Not only did they not work for even an hour and a half, but what work they did do, they did slowly. Also, they were kind enough to move our feather-weight grill from the balcony while leaving the heavy propane tank behind for us to move ourselves. All-in-all, spectacular service... RESPONSE FROM New Latitude Movers: An email was sent and a phone call was put into this customer regarding their poor experience. We have yet to hear back from them. Instances like this do occasionally happen, and we love the opportunity to show the customer our company's character by making things right for them. We were sorry to hear that their experience was poor and hope to be given an opportunity to make it right. Thanks more
