Our room was musty and dark...stains on the carpet and a shower head that didn't work.There is a flat screen, but it doesn't do you any good becuase there are like 3 channels. There was just a hole were the fridge was meant to be. Not what you would expect for paying $120! \r

We decided to take a nap and were never able to sleep because the cleaning staff was litterally YELLING for about 30 minutes in the hallway. They then proceded to slam the vacuum into the door repeatedly. When we called down and notified hotel staff they informed us that it was a silly idea to try to sleep in Venice in the middle of the day. We were also told by management, and I quote, ""yeah...the cleaning staff can be pretty loud...they'll be gone in a couple hours."" \r

Seriously?!? It's a hotel...we ought to be able to SLEEP there!\r

Less than an hour after we checked in we asked for a refund becuase of the shower, smelly room, and loud housekeeping. We were told there was a $60 early checkout fee. \r

Unbelievable!! Don't waste your money! We had stayed here before and had a bad experience, but decided to give it another chance becuase we had heard they changed management...but it was worse the second time! Jeff was the mangager we talked to and he basically just told us we were out of luck becuase they already had our money.
