First of all it should be known that I renovate properties and am not a novice.
Based on the advice of my plumber, I called to have a kitchen drain unclogged. Girl setting up appointment gave me a range of $126-$132 for a kitchen drain. This seemed high but I needed it done. When technician arrived I showed him the kitchen sink but told him it may be easier for him in the basement as the clean outs were more easily accessible. It took him ten minutes to bring in equipment, clean drain and be back in with bill. The bill was for $183. I explained that I was told less and he wouldn't budge. I called office and was told it is automatically that price if they go into a basement. Never was told that! Complained to the owner as did my plumber saying neither of us would ever use them again. Still no adjustment.
