I blew a spark plug out of my Expedition. I took it to Tidwell?s for repair, after having it for 3 days they told me that it would need the complete head replaced because it had striped the spark plug hole out. It would run 3800. I told them I could not afford that so I would have to pick it up. I brought it home and looked at the spark plug hole and thought it looked ok. I went to the parts store and bought a 5.00 spark plug and a spark plug tool. Came home and installed the plug in about 10 minutes. I've been driving it for 4 months and no problems. About a month ago my girl took her VW bug down to them because the Check engine light was on. They tell her it will be 1200 to replace the catalytic converter. She calls me and I tell her no way. We pick it up and take it to a muffler shop and they replace it for 250. This used to be a great place. Mr Tidwell was an honest person. Now they have this tall guy who is rude and a crook.
