Electronic's World (EW) service man "Ryan" felt the need to respond to my review so let me again reply. Ryan is protecting himself in this matter by saving face with the owner. Ryan knows he and I spoke very clearly that if the bulb that he assured me was going to fix my TV did not work I would return it. At $243.00 I wasn't going to spend that kind of money for something that DID NOT fix the problem. Ryan has a full shop of equipment to test the bulb which he didn't use but simply looked at the bulb and asked me how old my TV was and said "Its your bulb" "Yep its bad." So I accepted his professional opinion like any consumer would and his assurance. I signed the sales slip indicating he replaced the bulb. I got home and installed the bulb and nothing. Same problem. When I returned as promised they would not simply take the bulb back and give me my money back. Now they want to test the TV and charge more money which is the trap most consumers get caught in.
