I am terrified of the dentist, but I had a cavity and finally had to find a dentist. I liked the thought of sedation dentistry, so I made an appointment. They got me in right away and told me I had some cavities ready for fillings and needed 2 root canals and 2 crowns. I agreed to it as long as I could be sedated. It went well and when I returned to get my crowns put on they seemed to forget that I was terrified. I was put in the chair and told to open my mouth and the hygenist tried to pry off my temp crown. It hurt, I told her but it didn't matter. I finally told her to stop and was going to leave. She got the dentist and she said I had an infection under the crown. I got antibiotics and was told to come back in 10 days. I forced myself to go back because they didn't after my initial sedation, they didn't care to treat me with kindness. I didn't lose my fear with my teeth! They were awful and it was sit down and shut up. Never again, and my family will never go back
