Our family moved to Charlotte from the Midwest in 1999 and began to search for a church home. From the moment I walked on to the campus I knew that this was the right place. There is a very strong presence of the Holy Spirit at Carmel. The teaching is Biblically sound, whether you are listening in the sanctuary, preschool, children's area, youth or in adult Sunday Bible Study. We are challenged weekly to not only know the scripture, but to apply it personally, so that our life will actively reflect Jesus to those around us who so desperately need to know his love and forgiveness. Carmel is also a church that serves our local community. A perfect example is our upcoming ""Joy Prom"". Highly recommended!
