I pulled up to Pauito's after having seen their high rating on Urbanspoon. As I walked in I noticed masses of North Miami Police officers coming into and coming from the place - I was sure this was a good sign... Not so!\r

The restaurant had better decor than expected, the service was fantastic, but the food... The food was disappointing to say the least.\r

I got the Pacuca, a combination plate with a beef taco (fast food quality beef), a cheese enchilada (more a unprepared General Mill's Old El Paso tortilla filled with cheese and covered with cheap store bought enchilada sauce) and a tamale. The tamale was the best part of the meal, and it was mediocre at best.\r

I will not be going back, try Chéen Huaye instead!
