I only gave Don's Appliance's at Canonsburg 1 star - didn't want to give them any. We bought all of our maytag kitchen appliances from them when we bought our new home. My appliances were less than 5 years old when my oven wouldn't hold the temperature that it was set at. I had a Don's Appliance repairman come to my home and he told me there was nothing wrong with it. I kept telling him that there was and finally he decided that I needed a new oven control panel (I think that was what it was called). The piece was expensive, and he told me to call Maytag directly, explain the problem and see if they would give me a break on the price. Maytag did give me a break on price - but it was still expensive. Don's Appliance came back to install it, but over a 7 month period - it didn't hold the temperature again. Try baking a pizza (or Christmas cookies) and have to stand over it and keep checking the temperature so that it wouldn't drop 40 degrees or so. After several calls to Maytag and than to Don's we were left very frustrated. Don's told us that since we ordered and got the piece directly from Maytag that they wouldn't honor any sort of warranty. What!!! They were the ones that told me to do it. At this point, we have decided rather than to pay again to have them come to our house and not fix the problem, that we will junk the stove that looks like brand new (broiler has never been used) and we have a new stove coming tomorrow from Bridgeville Appliance.
