Having visited this restaurant five times over the past eight months, I can honestly say the service and food has been inconsistent. On my most recent visit yesterday, a friend and I came specifically for the $7 lunch special (which I had in September) only to be told they ""scrapped it a while ago."" As a new local I was very disappointed but decided to stay anyway because my friend (also a local) had never eaten there due to their pricey menu. The food portions were small (a skinny, flat fish sandwich for $10.99 and an upcharge for fries, yes fries) and a salad with sesame tuna in a soup size bowl (also 10.99) left us hungry and with a check for $28.00 for lunch (water and a Pepsi only)! The salad was small but good, the fish subpar and the prices not in line when all is said in done. Dinner two weeks ago for four totaled $160, with one of our party only ordering soup! Service this night was slow and one meal sent back for an ingredient asked to be left out but was not. It will not be returning. The owners should consider reinstituting the lunch special to attract new customers and locals, have an waitstaff training session, and clean up their act!
