I recently went in to the Wedding Shoppe, and made it clear that I was ready to buy a dress that same day. I don't think the salesperson cracked a smile during the whole experience. I wear a size 12 in jeans, and had trouble finding samples that would fit over my hips. The salesperson didn't offer to put on any veils or other accessories, even after I found a dress I liked. She made no effort at all to make the sale.
Overall, just not a good experience. I felt like I was just one more person in the dressing room, and the salesperson could care less whether or not she sold me a dress. Needless to say, I won't be going back!
