Groomer 2/18/2011

We have had some positive experiences with the kennel at Town & Country, although we recently had an unsatisfactory grooming experience. The owner, who is full of southern charm, worked to resolve my concerns to my satisfaction. My bad experience was with the grooming of our cocker spaniel. She received a very short shave (razor lines and skin showing) rather than the style we discussed. When I expressed my dissatisfaction, I got a shrug from the groomer and was told that's how she does the cut and that it would grow back. The groomer lacks the tact that I am accustomed to in the south. Having a comfortable relationship with our pet's groomer is important to us, so we will find a different groomer. The grounds are very nicely landscaped, however, there is a very bad odor outside the facility. I thought it was the grooming facility, but I have scents (pun intended) found out that the odor is from a neighboring business. The staff at the front desk is very friendly and seems to love animals. The inside of the facility is very clean and well maintained. I would highly recommend getting in touch with the owner if you have a bad experience because she does care about her business.\r more
