I just finished an awesome soup and sandwich at Petes' Deli and Grill located in the Fairfield Shopping Center on the corner of Providence Rd. and Kempsville. It 's not far from the library , the rec center and TJ. Maxx, so it works for me.
Everything is home made., from the chicken salad and desserts to the soup. They have different soups every day and every Friday they serve she-crab soup.
This is a super casual place with a locals' feel to it. The proprietors are friendly and I feel like I just discovered something. good.
