The 1st 4 times I was here I had no problem getting a table, but getting the check took close to an hour. The food was bland and the lobster tail was dry. Last weekend, I was convinced to go back after 2+ years of avoiding this place. I live in the neighborhood and always see long lines up front. My friend and I went for lunch around 1pm on Saturday, so there was no wait. We didn't order from the lunch menu and maybe that was our mistake. We ordered calamari, which was fresh and just cooked great. I ordered the mediterranean sea bass, which was tasteless and my friend ordered a stuffed filet. Also bland. We ate half and left. Sunday morning my friend got food poisoning. That Sunday afternoon at around 4pm I got food poisoning. We ate there together and ate no other meal together. I HAVE NO IDEA WHY PEOPLE LOVE THIS PLACE? MY BEST GUESS IS THAT THE PRICE DRAWS THE CROWD.
