We recently recieved an invitation to get $12 off dinner for our anniversary. We had used a free birthday meal two years ago.\r
I could not resist reviewing and stating we will not use the discouint offer. Our experiance was OK at best. I must preface by stating I am not from this area. The service was bad, I mean bad. the staff was proud that were proud that they had worked there a long time. If you knew them you were given extra attention at the expense of other patrons. The homemade bread they are proud of was tasteless and the sald was wilted and brown on the edges, salad dressing tasted like it came out of a bottle. The ribs were covered with a sweet BBQ sauce. I prefer a dry rub or a thin coat of spicy not sweet sauce, I was not askled or explained the ""Olde Town"" sauce was how it would be served. The prices were not cheap! For the price I will not return even with the discount they sent me. Again I am not from this area, I am used to more traditional, simple, yet gourmet prepared meals.. If you go spend time in the bar and get drunk first, everyone has a great time in there and if you are drunk the food seems much better
