We had our kitchen cabinets refaced and a garden window installed by New Face Kitchens. The cabinets have been delaminating around the corners (as well as cracking) for the last 6 years. When we contacted New Face Kitchens about this problem they said it was because the cabinets were too close to heat sources and moisture and that was a typical problem. Well that sure would have been nice to know at the time of installation!! It seems to me that kitchen cabinets are ALWAYS going to be around heat sources and moisture. They're in a kitchen!! Granted the work was done in 1996 but it seems absolutely ludicrous that a "typical problem" wouldn't have been brought up in the very beginning when we were going over options. Additionally, the garden window has been leaking for a couple years now and has not only caused major mold problems it has also started to cause rot. I am extremely disappointed with how they're product has held up and I plan on letting as many people as possible know.
