The first time I had a beer here I was told that the beer would be 2.50 but if I didn't run a tab and have more than one I'd be charged 3.00 for a single beer because of the ""outrages bank charges"" for processing my credit (debit) card. When I gave the bartender some ""unsolicited advice"" that I had never heard of that before I was told it was common practice to charge more if the bill was less than 5.00. I then had another beer thinking I'd be charged the 5.00 (2.50 times 2 beers) but my bill came to 6.00. Apparently, if you argue that it's ridiculous to be charged a different amount based on how much you purchased you get ""RIPPED OFF"" by getting charged the higher amount. I was not in the mood at this point to argue so I paid my bill and left. This was the first time I'd ever been to this bar and I quite often I have buddies join me for a few beers and maybe lunch/dinner resulting in 15 to 20 customers. Obviously, Tabbs won't get my business.
