We recently remodeled our kitchen when we moved into our home in Monroeville. I like dealing with family businesses even more after receiving many overpriced quotes from bigger companies. I actually found Family Floors by accident when a friend referred me to a similar store. I called Family floors and set up day/time for an estimate. Chuck came out the next day, gave us a very reasonable price for a 10x15 tiled room. I went to their store where his wife was more than happy to help me choose the perfect tile for the kitchen. I asked for a larger tile, set on a diagonal which involves more cuts. I also requested cement board which typically is only put in bathrooms. Chuck was very accommodating to these requests and did a fantastic job in 2 days. Grout was perfect and trim was done by his dad, chick, at a later date which looks great too.
Because things went so well with the first job, we used them again when we remodeled our game room. Chuck and Chick came out, ripped up the old carpet, laid the new carpet, and also matched the new landing with the same tile as the kitchen as requested by me. Another perfect job!
I highly recommend using Family floors, they are great, affordable, and honest people that are great at what they do.
