I used to consider this my salon. After being served by someone new, I intend on going elsewhere. My hair is butchered and ill-fitted to my personal style. I wonder if the stylist heard me at all in regards to what I wanted, or if she bothered to look at me and my personal style. I feel like I got a cut that fits in a book somewhere, not something unique and personalized as I had received before. I also felt she was trying to sell me produts the whole time, and I left wondering how much comission she receives when she succeeds in selling products. Bummer, Shanti Salon! I really liked you. You're in my neighborhood. Next time (months from now, when I have hair again), I'll try the training school on Capitol Hill. I'd rather go to a novice, who maybe will be less focused on the bottomline. Hair is personal. Where's the love?
