I recently was given a ferret by a friend of a friend who no longer could keep it. The first thing I did was go to the local pet store and ask where they took their ferrets for treatment and was recommended to Animal Family. When I called they were extremely pleasant and scheduled an appointiment for early the following week. We had very little wait time when we got to the office. Milo was given a great examiniation and given all the basic shots a ferret needs. Dr. Kathy then walked me through the common mistakes ferret keepers tend to have and what to watch for health wise. The following day she even called to check on Milo and see how he was doing. I now recommend Animal Family to everyone I know who needs an excellent small animal vet clinic, even though it is an hour away.
