This wonderful little German Gasthaus has totally gone downhill. I've been coming here for 17 years, and never had a bad experience until today. Over an hour between ordering and finally telling waitress to cancel our order. We (my wife and 2 young daughers) came in around 6:30 pm on a Friday evening- daughters food came 45 minutes later, after the waitress said our food would be ""right up""- 15 minutes later I found her in the kitchen, with our food still not being prepared. We cancelled our order, and when I spoke with the young man behind the bar, (who was the ""manager on duty"" he said there was nothing they could do. Apparently there is a new chef, but the restaurant was not that busy (about half full) and there were two cooks in the kitchen. The food in the past has been excellent and the service goood to excellent, but today's experience, and the management's complete lack of concern about the slow service and the server's lack of concern about the entire situation was simply apathetic.
