I would like say that Round Lake Animal hospital is the worst place to take your pet. unless you want your pet to die. My dog was diagnosed with pyometra and she was put on antibiotics for a week and a half and scheduled for surgery on oct 31, well i found my dog dead on the morning of oct 29 2011 today, When i took her to the emergency clinic they told with pyometra (uterus infection) surgery is requied immediately and shouldnt of been post poned for a week 1/2 later. i was trying to get a hold of the dr with the so called non emergency phone # which has no voice mail box set up and no one answered i had to leave a voice mail on the regular line and hope that someone would check it before monday. well tcome to find out he dr was out of town all week so that is exactly why he scheduled it for that day because if the infection that she had was so severe why didnt he tell me to go else where because it needed to be done immediately and he couldnt do it til a week and half later. the way i see it they dont care about the pets and are only concerned about the money.
