We were traveling on Christmas Eve and Albany was our halfway point. We only needed a room from about 2am to 8am, so we decided to book something inexpensive. My expectations were not high.
We were greeted by the front desk clerk as if it were afternoon, not 2am. He couldn't have been friendlier or more welcoming. The room was big and cleaner than I expected it to be. Bathroom was roomy and also clean.
It's not the Ritz but for $60 bucks you can't beat it.
