It's not a busy time of year so that isn't a good sign given that Dallas is about to heat up with Super Bowl visitors....and the dinner experience we had recently was so far below what it used to be here. Why take a restaurant to a total package dining format? I guess so you can make sure that the tab per person can meet your goals without worrying about the individual timing and preparation of really good dishes. I had the chateaubriand as my main course and my wife had the lobster....both were so far below standards of the past. My chateaubriand was tough and overcooked, and the lobster was rubbery. The side dishes were paltry. It just all looked like it was cooked in advance and warmed up. I guess I am so shocked at this after having eaten here a number of times more than 2 years ago. Don't waste your money on the food or the shabby atmosphere. I think that a lot of these reviews must be planted because I can't make their experiences match up in anyway with ours. Sad to say it but there are a lot of other good places to go in Dallas and spend that kind of money.
