We arrived at 12:30 on the Sunday after New Years. The interior was about 20% of capacity with the outside full but only a 5 minute wait. After having a drink at the bar we were seated outside. On our way to our table I was shocked to look down at the floor and see scattered on the rugs of the outdoor lounge area, bits of the previous nights sugar wrappers, pieces of napkin and general debris that occurs and falls to the floor at any restaurant or bar. How could this area not have been cleaned before opening?! After being seated and placing our order our waiter was missing in action even when our food was served by others on the staff in a food auction fashion. Our table was sticky and when I wiped the area in front of me my white linen napkin became grayish black with filth and I had to ask for a new napkin 3 times! Did anyone ask if they could clean our table? No! Didn't occur to anyone! At mid meal our wine glasses were empty for 15 minutes, lost revenue to the restaurant. A salad we ordered was certainly on the check but never made it to our table at any time during our meal and never once did a manger come to welcome us and ask us if we were enjoying our meal. Our waiter did reappear some 10 minutes after we finished our meal to deliver the check and make some small talk about our iPhones. Absolutely horrid service! The only positive was the food and the beautiful weather outside this day. Brio is a well known restaurant with good food but this one needs to have it's management team removed & replaced immediately without hesitation.
