I've been going to KMR for about 6 months and have worked out with almost every member - both men and women. Probably 30% of the members are women.
This place has a great sense of community - people do much more than just work out in the same class, they work with each other, encourage each other, push each other to do better, etc.
Ken the owner is a natural teacher who exudes the Krav Maga mentality and uses a positive teaching/coaching style to re-inforce the proper mind set and technique. He always has a smile on and can always find something positive to say about how you are doing / progressing.
I drive 30 miles each way 3 to 4 days a week to train here. In the past 6 months I've become much more physically fit than 2 years in a conventional gym and although always able to ""handle"" myself I'm much more confident in any situation.
If you remotely think your interested you should give it a try. I guarantee the people there will make you feel at home. As you interact with other members you can also find folks with similar interest and goals as yourself which makes it a lot of fun to progress at a similar pace.
