Would you want to deal with a company whose owner didn't display good ethics? Would you want to deal with an unprofessional owner that would do ANYTHING to save him from paying a mere $50 to a third-world country worker?
I wouldn't either.
End of October 2010, someone named Steven Xi contacted me on an online freelancing portal and offered me to handle his Twitter marketing. The agreement was for me to do this for $50, which I agreed on. However, when the work was done and delivered, the Steven Xi is nowhere to be seen.
What kind of company would do this?? Nothing I'd like to do business with, I'll say.
